AT&T confirmed that services were restored after hours and also said that this was likely caused by some error, not a cyber attack, apologizing to customers for their inconvenience.
This all started on Tuesday morning when thousands of users reported issues with calling, texting, and other services.
Other cellular providers including Verizon, Cricket Wireless and T-Mobile also reported the outage.
T- Mobile also said that the network did not suffer an outage.
Cricket wireless subsidiary cellular company working under AT and T also uses its network and said it has also faced cellular problems and more than around 14000 customers reported an outage at 8:00 a.m., and came down to 10,000 by 10:00 am on Tuesday.
The good news is that all the problems related to the outage have been sorted out.
